« This is a beautiful luxury resort with all the amenities and it has a super friendly atmosphere. The spa experience is top notch and the therapists are excellent. There were some areas that were not open and under renovation during our stay. There were also a few restaurants that were closed which made the selection limited. Still, the accommodations are beautiful and the 2200 acres spectacular. A lot to see and do so if you are alone or traveling with kids there are plenty of activities. »

« The Paddler's Retreat is REALLY out of the way. We enjoyed our stay however, people need to understand that all services are limited. Due to Covid there is only a very limited breakfast, mostly cold. If you want tea, you will need to use the microwave. The range is not available. Furthermore, the options are more limited for dinner. There is only a gas station / limited eatery that stop serving at 6:30pm. The little town, Confluence is about 5 miles away. « Creative rooms that were clean and fun. No staff on site, however chat staff helpful with quick responses and solutions. Area around property sketchy, dining extremely limited in town. Town was nonexistent and not worth visiting. »

« 1. There was difficulty gaining access to the hotel. There was road construction on both sides of the road. We stayed for two nights. They did not clean or replace needed bathroom supplies. Fixtures in the bathroom were either broken or missing parts to operate. Beds were not made and room cleaned or rubbish removed. « Very clean and accommodating to my personal needs. Only gripe is was told I was getting a room. With a king size bed. However it was actually 2 queen beds. Not too terrible. But worth mentioning nonetheless. »
